pseudoscience vertebrae audit: why we're allegedly 9 bones short of death

There are 7 cervical, 12 thoracic, and 5 lumbar vertebrae... Quick math puts us about 9 vertebrae short of 33. Unless they are counting the fuses bones of the sacrum and coccyx... but even then the coccyx has 3-5 fuses vertebrae so still not 33 for everyone. Oh and the Vagus nerve is not even remotely shaped like a cross and if it "died for 3 days" when some mystery oil ran through our body every 3 days that killed the vagus nerve, we would be very, very, very dead.
