He's watching a lot of content that you don't know about. Hes halfway or fully down a pipeline that can end in some dark places. Most flat earthers want to feel like they are special, that they know something everyone else doesnt, and it becomes an identity for them. Watch "in search of a flat earth" on YouTube about this community, and theres a documentary on Netflix too (but I haven't watched it) and another one by another youtuber named hbomberguy if you want more to watch and learn about.
