CIA guy's 500yr time travel was actually just a really committed monk LARP

This CIA veteran just alleged that he traveled 500+ years back in time. He spent months living as an ancient Orthodox monk. He met the spirit of the Virgin Mary. He learned to fly. When he returned, he traveled to the place he lived as a monk. What he found shocked him: Rolf Mowatt-Larssen discovered that his identity as a 14th century monk, Maximos of Kafsokalyvia, was a real person. Legends of Maximos as a “flying monk” were real.
