'F**k you!' Richard Tice heckled and booed after telling schoolchildren it's time to 'make Britain great again' Richard Tice has received a rather unwelcome reception when speaking to sixth-form students at Methodist Central Hall. The Reform UK deputy leader was a stand-in for boss Nigel Farage, who, despite being on posters for the event, instead spent time with farmers in Llandudno. The event was PolEonUK, a political conference for A-level students. In videos circulating online, Mr Tice can be seen telling the students that it is time to "make Britain great again".But the students took umbrage with the comments, and instead, his speech was met with a barrage of boos and heckles across the young audience. One student was even heard yelling "F*** you!" at Mr Tice. The comments on the video, which had been circulated on TikTok, were decidedly mixed. "Like being woke is a bad thing..." one individual commented. However, another questioned: "He says 'let’s make Britain great' and that’s what people boo?" Mr Tice has recently come under fire for claiming there is a "crisis of overdiagnosis of children with neurodiverse issues". "The sight of children in classes wearing ear defenders, I’m sorry, this is just insane. It’s got to stop. The teachers want it to stop. Heads want it to stop. It’s not the right way forward," he said, receiving staunch criticism for his comments. LATEST DEVELOPMENTS James Cleverly left stuttering in grilling over Tory chairman’s ‘Nazi’ comments Rachel Reeves will 'push savers into paying tax' as cash ISA allowance set to PLUMMET to £12k Australian 'Burka Senator' tells GB News of 'Islamic infiltration' in chilling warning One individual, underneath the video of Mr Tice speaking at the PolEonUK event, said: "Zack Polanski was amazing today." The audience was said to be a very pro-Green crowd, hence the hostile reaction to Reform's deputy leader. The Green Party leader also spoke at the event but received a markedly more positive reception from the young crowd. Mr Polanski said that Britain needs to "challenge the narrative" and raised concerns over a "nuclear war". Once finished, he received raptures of applause from the students, with many even standing up and cheering. Today, Mr Polanski has been spotted attending a Rachel Reeves stunt outside Parliament. The stunt took aim at Ms Reeves' wealth tax, and features a campaigner dressed in a papier mache head of the Chancellor. It also questioned Rachel Reeves ahead of the 2025 Budget with a banner saying: "Why won't you tax their wealth?" Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter
