THE Trump administration is in talks to offer a safe haven to a Koran as a free speech martyr, it has emerged.
The potential intervention is likely to enrage Left-wing activists who have claimed the US should be a bastion of free speech, despite attempts by the government.
It has successfully overturned a conviction for a religiously aggravated public order offense outside the Turkish embassy in London. However, the Crown Prosecution Service is fighting to overturn a ruling at a hearing in the High Court this week.

CANCELLING local elections for another year would deny more than 15 million voters a say in their local democracy, analysis suggests.
Surveys have refused to rule out delaying the elections for a third time, with No 10 saying a decision would come after the general election in May.
Next year the biggest council of local authorities have demanded clarity over whether the election will take place, with 22 could not take place due to the elections due later in May.
