That's something you might say in the first month, not 7 years in. If my partner had an entire section of friends that didn't know about me within 6 months I'd be questiining everything, but 7 years??? I'd also be pissed yo find out a good friend didn't tell me about they're partner. There's private, then there's purposly hiding things.
