Jewelry thief gets lawyered up by random Redditor

It’s not logically hers. She believes she’s entitled to it bc she’s the only other female and grandma was sexist. 1. Grandma left items specially for OP and her daughter. If grandma wanted the jewelry to stay w women and go to OP, that would have been specified -“upon aunts death jewelery goes to OP and in the event OP is gone it goes to the next blood related female”. Super simple to add. It wasn’t bc grandma wanted her daughter to do what she wanted w the property. 2. Aunt made a will specifically after OP pointed out the cousin wouldn’t receive the inheritance - the legal adoption severs the heir tie. So again, the aunt is stating she wants everything, including the jewelry, to go to cousins. 3. When it comes to legalese and inheritance, no judge would agree with your “life is more than a piece of paper”. Wills are the express desire of the person who writes it, and it takes *ALOT* for a judge to veer from it. She is a selfish AH, and a thief who engaged in elder abuse by stealing from her aunt with dementia - after knowing the aunts wishes. Her father is even telling her she’s wrong. I certainly feel for her, but she’s being extremely gross here.
