From 'bad smell' accusations to coparenting: the 90 Day fever dream speedrun

12 years ago, reality TV gave us one of the most chaotic couples in history: Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali on 90 Day Fiancé.  Danielle, a 40 year old mother from Ohio, brought 26-year-old Mohamed over from Tunisia on a K-1 visa, but the relationship imploded almost immediately. Mohamed famously refused to kiss her at their wedding, citing religious rules, but the drama peaked at the reunion special. In a moment that humiliated Danielle globally, Mohamed publicly claimed he avoided intimacy because she had a "bad smell" down there and needed to see a doctor. Furious and feeling scammed, Danielle spent years carrying around a literal "binder of evidence" (filled with printed screenshots and bills) trying to prove he used her for a Green Card so she could get the marriage annulled and have him deported. Today, the story has a bizarre ending: they are actually friends. Mohamed stayed in the U.S., became a truck driver, and recently had a child with his new American wife. Danielle went on to become a nurse.
