Mom befriends freshman girls, controls them via Snapchat, acts shocked at trial

Shannon O’Connor, also known as “Party Mom,” is on trial for allegedly organizing secret and disturbing alcohol-fueled parties for Los Gatos High School freshmen. A girl who dated O'Connor's son testified, "There was no escape. It was harder to escape from her than her son. She knew my every move. When I started to move on, I was shamed for it." The mother wanted her son’s group of friends to think of O’Connor as one of the “popular girls,” witnesses testified.
