Woman discovers boys-only club doesn't actually want girls
A Reddit post from r/SexualHarassmentTalk where a female software engineer describes workplace exclusion and differential treatment. The post details how her male team lead systematically excludes her from after-work social events with male colleagues, provides them with better mentorship and code review feedback, and questions whether this constitutes sexual harassment despite not involving sexualization.

I'm the only female engineer on my team and they constantly exclude me from social gatherings: is it sexual harassment?
I'm the only female engineer at my software company and every day after work my team lead asks all the men on the team to go out for beers. He'll go around and ask every male member of our team and always skips me, right in front of me! I feel like they're all doing so much better at work because of their social connection to our team lead. I also noticed that our team lead mentors the male engineers a lot more and gives them detailed feedback on their code in GitHub. My code is often ignored or he takes forever to give me any feedback.
I feel ignored and undervalued and undermined. And the crazy thing is that my fellow team members are very nice to me but they never think to include me either.
I don't feel sexualized at all but is this type of exclusion also harassment?
Are they excluding me because I'm a woman? What should I do?
